ENVIRONMENT
At Gripsholm Distillery we are not only committed to creating products that are unique, but also to create socially and environmentally responsible products, by being 100% organic and redefining how to make organic vodka.
The entire production process, from grains to bottling, is done within a three-mile radius.
Not only do we exclusively use water that comes straight from
our own well, our grains are sources sourced directly from four
local farmers who never use synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, distilled with yeast
and starch that are naturally occurring and never spurred along by synthetic processes of GMOs.
Each bottle of contains only the best results of our distillation process,
which we call the heart. What’s then left over—the parts that other vodka brands
keep distilling—we send out to biogas stations to be reused in public transportation
and biogas-fueled cars. In fact, every single piece of refuse we create is reused or recycled. Even our bottles
are made from recycled glass. Not only that, but our entire distillery is run on electricity sourced from wind and
water power and the steam produced from the fermentation process of our organic wheat is channeled to produce the heat
used in our offices and conference rooms. It doesn’t get much greener than that.
