Gripsholm Distillery, dating back to 1580, is the third largest and the only certified organic distillery in Sweden.
Here, we produce Kanon Organic Vodka and Gripsholm Vodka from locally grown organic grains.
For us being organic is not about following trends or trying to score environmental points. We produce organic vodka
because it is the only way we have ever done it. When Gripsholm Distillery was founded, no one had even
heard of pesticides or additives. All grains came directly from the rich Södermanland soil, was distilled without additives and
mixed with fresh spring water from the own source “Storskogens Källa”. And nothing has changed since then actually.
We still do what we have always done; vodka made from fresh spring water and organic grains from the surroundings. In these times,
to the outside world, that seems to be something new.
KANON ORGANIC VODKA
Kanon Organic Vodka is made from locally grown organic wheat, distilled once in our unique continuous process, without charcoal filtration or additives.
GRIPSHOLM VODKA
Gripsholm Vodka is made from a mix of organic rye and organic wheat, distilled in the same process.
